About me

Welcome to the vibrant world of Lula Nopal, where art meets femininity, nature, and imagination. As a visual artist, I delve into the intricate realms of female identity, exploring the multifaceted nature of women through my artistic expressions.

Artistic Vision

My creative journey is a celebration of women as embodiments of duality - the fusion of woman and nature, the ethereal beauty of the flower woman, the free-spiritedness of the woman bird, and the primal essence of the animal woman. Through my paintings, I capture the essence of the real and ideal woman, often depicting them in moments of introspection, longing, or pursuing dreams through intuition and improvisation.

Medium and Technique

Versatility is the cornerstone of my artistic approach. While drawing serves as my foundation, I explore a myriad of techniques and mediums to bring my visions to life. Acrylics, oils, inks, paper mâché, paper-cutting, and digital painting are just some of the tools in my artistic arsenal. This diversity allows me to experiment freely, infusing my works with vibrant colours and dynamic compositions that resonate with viewers on a profound level.

Born amidst the bustling streets of Mexico City and enriched by experiences in Spain and France, I graduated in Arts from FAD (UNAM), where I honed my craft and nurtured my passion for cultural expression. Over the years, my works have graced exhibitions in Mexico, Spain, Italy, France and Ireland garnering recognition for their depth and emotive power.

Additionally, I have served as a Mentor at Dublin Art Connections, where I had the opportunity to guide emerging artists on their creative journeys, offering support, encouragement, and valuable insights to help them flourish in the vibrant art community of Dublin.
